Faqs

Is it possible to take private lessons?

In acute cases, we will do this. Once past the acute stage, you would want to join a regular series Foundation class.

What is the process for repeating/reviewing classes?

You will simply sign up as usual, but the repeated class fees are discounted by 45%.

How is MSP different from other yoga and meditation classes?

While there are parts and pieces of the system that do incorporate aspects of mindfulness, meditation, hatha yoga, and breath techniques, the way the entire program is woven together is completely different. We are founded on the ancient concepts of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, the Bhagavad Gita, and the Upanishads, as well as other movement work and contemporary philosophies. We work to stay grounded in current science as well. Mainly, it will depend on the quality and depth of results you seek. Once you use the MSP skill set, you’ll find you are able to get a richer result from all your other activities.

I’m confined to a wheelchair. Are there any special adaptations needed for me?

You’ll work from your chair in class, and we’ll teach you how to make any adaptations if they are needed. Similarly, we can teach the same skills to people who may be bed-ridden, paraplegic, quadriplegic, visually impaired, or more. There’s always a way when the student is willing and open.

Is it necessary to take the Foundation workshop before attending any of the others?

Yes. Everything else is built upon that knowledge.

I can't meditate; I’ve tried. Will I experience results?

You bet! How a person is taught makes a huge difference. We work with a progression and other factors to help you achieve results and know how to continue on your own.

My body is inflexible. Will this program work for me?

Definitely. Before a person has experience in understanding what we mean when we teach the concept of “move from stuck to release,” it’s common to think this way. Once you learn all the factors involved in your lack of mobility, by using MSP tools, you begin a revolutionary journey to a renewed flexibility in experiencing your world.
